yes it is in english and it is free and on the computer... go to the virtual console section on ONM, on the earthbound thread. it has a link too the thing that lets you play it and the translation. download them. then ask quertman for a link to the Real japanese version of the game (keep it descreet, its kinda a legal difficulty). then follow the instructions. its awesome

well its not really illegal, but the people who made the fan translation say that if nintendo persue th action of start translating it they will immediately take off everything on the website. also its not really illegal if you buy the ROM, but they dont care if you download it for free. believe me its well worth it.
